ESE BRUME – Implementing Director And Creative Development

Ese Brume is a multidisciplinary performing artist and creative playwright with over twenty-five years of professional experience creating and performing on the contemporary French and European theatre scene. An independent producer in the music, theatre and film industry, she has successfully managed several international projects featuring world renowned artists. She also uses her organizational skills to market and manage in France and currently in Nigeria creative spaces which professionals of the film and the music industry naturally gravitate to. Passionate about alternative creative methods of educating and inspiring young ones in France and in Nigeria, she uses her skills as a performer-storyteller-artist to initiate and provoke reflection in the minds of the youths through regular workshops. Now fully based in Nigeria, she is currently Implementing Director of the Ovie Brume Foundation working closely with the Board of Trustees to return to the core vison and mission of the foundation in this period of world changes.

OMOTAYO BAKRE – Finance & Admin Manager

Tayo is a Finance, Grant/Asset Management and Admin specialist with a degree in Accounting and certification in Management. He is an alumnus of West Africa Civil Society Institute Ghana with a specialization in Financial Management and Grants Reporting. He is experienced in Budgeting, Internal Control, Book Keeping, Financial Reporting, Auditing and Administration with proficiency in the use of Peachtree (Sage) and QuickBooks Accounting Software. A student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). A team player

Nnanna Kalu – Head of Programmes

He is a highly organized and experienced professional with a core focus in NGO management, programs coordination, grant writing, and project coordination.
With over 6 (Six) years in the mainstream social sector, he can establish long-term, positive and fun relationships with clients, co-workers, and outside resources. He is detail-oriented, a skilled problem-solver, and can multi-task. He loves to communicate concisely and deliver enthusiastic presentations about the core non-governmental structures, programs, and projects he has orchestrated.
Additionally, he strongly believes in social change and has been involved with over 10 non-governmental organizations directly or by proxy coupled with large-scale private corporations he has within his six (6) years of socially breaking “glass ceilings” around youth development, ageism, standard health accessibility and community welfare development. The Projects Nnanna has worked on has been funded by the US Consulate, UNHCR, Access Bank, Ministry of Education, Lagos State Government, ACT Foundation, Lafarge Africa PLC, Barrack Obama American Corner, and the Bank of Industry, amongst a host of others.

SEYI OLAWUYI – Program Officer, Youth Centre & Livelihood

Seyi holds a degree in Global Public Health and has over five years’ experience in program management, which cuts across planning, costing, scheduling, executing, monitoring, and evaluating several Education, Health, and Livelihood Interventions.
He is skilled in Nonprofit Management, Sustainable Development, Corporate Social Responsibility, Program Evaluation, and Volunteer Management. He is very committed to learning and improving organizational objectives as well as achieving managerial goals.
His experience with cross-functional team has built his knowledge and understanding of the benefit of collaboration. This has helped in easily identifying expressed needs, re-orientating systems, and designing programs in a result based manner.
He is a social enterprise enthusiast, a creative thinker, and a diligent worker whose passion lies in contributing to people’s quality of life.

OLASEHINDE OLUWAKEMI.A – Assistant Program Office Niger Delta Youth Centre

A Public Administrator and a human development instructor, who graduated from the polytechnic in Nigeria. She is known for her ability to groom and influence teenagers and young youths positively in decision making, capacity building and life skill development skills. She coordinates and implements the programs at the Niger Delta Youth Centre in Delta State Nigeria.

Abimbola Akintunde – Afolabi – Programs officer for Education unit and Coordinator of the Barack Obama American corner.

Abimbola is a trained educationist with over 5 years experience in teaching and mentoring young minds. She believes so much in the power of knowledge and mental development. Abimbola is passionate about training children and young people. She has attended a lot of certificate training and workshop to add to her knowledge and skills, to mention but a few; Certificate of Completion In Fresh Graduate Training Workshop On “Preparing For Career Opportunities” By The U.S. Consulate General Lagos – May 2021, a one -week Training On “Effective Library Administration And Management” organized by the U.S. Consulate General Lagos – July 2021, Certificate Of Completion On “Getting Started With Blogging And Web Creation” By The U.S. Consulate General Lagos – August 2021.
Four words can be used to describe Abimbola; simple, dynamic, committed, and resilient. She enjoys traveling to new places and watching animation.

We envision a society where young people are educated, empowered and self-reliant. This is driven by our mission to create an environment where young people are able to reach their goals and give back to their communities. This mission is actualized by a wide range of programs implemented in our thematic areas that include Education, Livelihood, Health, Sports, Arts and Culture. These programs are targeted to encourage Nigerian youth to develop themselves and contribute to the development of their immediate communities and Nigeria as a whole.
