AIGBOJE AIG-IMOUKHUEDE

Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede holds an LLB and a BL degree from the University of Benin and the Nigeria Law School respectively. He is an Alumnus of Harvard Business School, Executive Management Programme and an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN). He is also Chairman of the Friends of the Global Fund for Africa, a foundation that focuses on the eradication of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Aigboje has enjoyed a distinguished banking career of over 20 years, more than 10 of which were spent at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GT Bank) from where he resigned in March 2002 to lead a dynamic crop of accomplished bankers as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, a position he currently holds.

 

OFOVWE AIG-IMOUKHUEDE


Ofovwe Aig-Imoukhuede holds an LLB from the Kings College, University of London, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School and an MBA from the University of Cambridge. She has over 15 years of experience in the Nigerian banking industry where her core focus was in Sales and Marketing and Product Development/ Management.

Since leaving the banking industry, Ofovwe has focused her interests in the oil and gas and property development sectors. She is currently the Managing Director of Linder Property Investments Limited.

 

 

JITE BRUME

Jite Brume is an architect who graduated from the Architectural Association, London in 2001. She has been practicing as a designer and consultant in Europe and Africa specializing in architectural, urban and landscape design as well as cultural research and analysis.

In 2005 she co-founded Mappamundi Design, an international multi-disciplinary practice in London followed by its Lagos based sister company Mamu Designs in 2008 where she serves as Artistic Director. Jite is a motivator with an expertise in project initiation and is engaged in ongoing research of ecological and vernacular building techniques, traveling regularly between Africa, Europe and Asia.

A humanitarian by instinct Jite is currently developing several social and cultural projects still in their embryonic phase.

AMBASSADOR BROWNSON DEDE

Ambassador Brownson Dede is a veteran diplomat with decades of experience in the Nigerian Foreign Service. As an idealist and a supporter fair democratic process his role has been that of facilitator, both for the government and between governments.
He is currently coordinator of the UN International Assistance Program for Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The institution is the main agent of democracy in Nigeria and was created by the constitution to organize Federal and state elections in Nigeria. They collaborate regularly with international organizations to strengthen the electoral process in Nigeria

A staunch believer in the value of education Ambassador Dede believes all youth should be given the opportunity to study and actively supports organizations and individuals with this agenda.

IFEOMA IDIGBE

Ifeoma Idigbe has been the Chairman of the Ovie Brume Youth Centre from inception. She coordinated the establishment of the Youth Centre and supervised the introduction of its’ various programmes.

In her professional life, Ifeoma is a business analyst with over 20 years professional experience in finance and human resource management. She is particularly interested in people development, quality customer service, and the cultural and people management issues in organisations. She is the Director of Newbridge Associates Limited, a finance and human resource consulting company, which provides consulting services and runs a variety of people development and customer service training programmes, as well as finishing school/etiquette classes for individuals and organisations. Her educational background includes a first degree in the Pure Sciences with a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Masters in Human Resource Management.

EVELYN OPUTU


Evelyn Oputu is an industrialist and entrepreneur who began her career in the banking sector in 1976. For over 2 decades she charted an outstanding course in the field working at Morgan Guarantee Trust in New York, ICON and International Merchant Bank (IMB), ultimately as Executive Director until 1990. She subsequently served as Executive Director at First Bank of Nigeria, becoming a role model for women and young professionals.

From the early 1980’s Evelyn directed a range of entrepreneurial businesses in parallel with banking, and from 1997 decided to dedicate herself fully to these activities. She launched Kes Products, a manufacturing company in Lagos and consulted regularly for the government until 2005 when she was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry, a development finance institution.

In recognition of her exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s development, the government of Nigeria awarded her the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) in 2008. Evelyn has also been awarded a number of honorary degrees and doctorates from institutions around the world and actively works with the UN for the achievement of the Millenium Development Goals, with a focus on eradication of poverty through wealth creation and gender issues.

She was inspired to establish the Ovie Brume Foundation with her daughters in 2003, in memory of her son and third child.
