We believe that young people should be encouraged to explore art as a means of self-expression and also taught to appreciate it and recognise its importance in defining cultural identity.
Over the years, we have held annual art competitions open to schools in the Eti-Osa local government area on various themes. Winning entries were exhibited to showcase the budding artistis skills and talent.
The Ovie Brume Foundation seeks to create positive and safe environments, where young people can access a wide range of educational, social and recreational programmes and activities, meet appropriate role models, and obtain support and counselling at no cost to them.
Our ultimate goal is to help the young people maximise their potential and grow up to be valuable members of society who can contribute to the development of their communities.
Giving Thankful to Friends of the Foundation
Friends of the Ovie Brume Foundation are individuals, corporate bodies or institutions that share the vision and mission of the Foundation. They support the projects of the Foundation in their own little way and also serve as resource personnel during our programmes at the Foundation. Some of our Friends volunteer their time, skills and expertise whilst others give one time or ongoing donations.
