Twenty-four (24) members of Ovie Brume Foundation Youth Centre participated at the Ascend Boys Leadership Conference, which held from 10th – 11th April 2017. The conference is an initiative of SOAR, it was designed to positively influence the attitudes and behavior of children and young adults. It was aimed at providing guidance by addressing various issues and situations teenage boys face daily such as self-esteem, peer pressure, emotional intelligence, as well as build their skills and confidence to overcome these pressures and live outstanding lives.
The event had in attendance facilitators such as Bolaji Odunfa, Bolaji Akinyemi, Seun Shobo, Fortune Afatapa, Deji Irawo, Enahoro Okhae, Odunayo Omole and Olakunle Shoriyan.
