Eco Club

EcoClub is the Ovie Brume Foundation’s environmental education program, to train our secondary school beneficiaries to becoming environmental ambassadors. Through a structured curriculum delivered across different sessions, students move beyond the classroom to engage directly with their environment: becoming Eco ambassadors in their schools, learning how climate influences us, engaging in waste recycling, establishing vegetable nurseries, planting trees and crops, harvesting crops, and developing eco-businesses. Every lesson is practical, every activity generates real data, and each student leaves with measurable skills and a record of practical environmental action.

More than an environmental program, EcoClub is a leadership and life-skills intervention rooted in Nigeria’s most pressing ecological realities: plastic pollution, climate vulnerability, food insecurity, and deforestation. It equips young Nigerians not just to understand these challenges, but to respond to them practically, confidently, and creatively. Beneficiaries under this program leave as certified Environmental Ambassadors, carrying the knowledge, habits, and conviction to influence their families, communities, and ultimately, the Nigeria they will inherit.
