2018 WORLD CANCER DAY

On 6th February, 2018, the Ovie Brume Foundation commemorated the 2018 World Cancer Day in partnership with Lagoon Hospital and Hygiea HMO. The event, which was specifically targeted at young people, held at Akande Idahunsi Memorial High School, Osborne Road Ikoyi, Lagos. SCHOOL MANAGERS FORUM

On 20th February 2018, the Ovie Brume Foundation hosted the maiden edition of the School Managers Forum for school heads and teachers of public schools in Victoria Island, Lagos. The meeting focused on recognizing the role teachers play in impacting youth as well as acquaint them with opportunities and programs of the Ovie Brume Foundation. THE GENESIS: A CHARITY ART EXHIBITION

FUNDRAISING GALA DINNER

On January 19th 2007 a fundraising dinner was organised at the Civic Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos to benefit the programmes of the Ovie Brume Foundation and contribute to the development the Ovie Brume Foundation’s permanent site. OVIE’S DAY

This is an annual event held around 11th December, where young people come to a memorial celebration of Ovie Brume. To mark the occasion, the Ovie Brume Foundation hosts evenings with music, poetry, art exhibitions, dance and theatre including performances by the youth members and alumni of the Foundation to honour the family and celebrate Ovie’s legacy.
